FINAL Team Selections and anyone wanting to try out for 13U-14U are Sunday Sept 27
The times are
- 13U (2 teams) - 1:00 to 3:00 - both teams full, you can tryout for 14u
- 14U (2 teams) - 1:00 to 3:00 - We still have 3 open sports in 14u
If you can possibility be there please do so. Otherwise the coaches will use their notes they took at the original tryouts. ot
CLRC Does not allow parents in the gym during practices at this time. Parents you can wait outside, drop them off, go for a walk the new walkikng/Nature trails Exploration Green behing the rec ctr.
Parents when you check in if you have any requests, Like No travel team, Siblings that have to be on same team, let us know when you check in. The requests for players being on the same team has to come from both players parents. FYI. if one would make the top Travel team and one a lower team we have to put them both on the lower team. You can ask to play down with your friends but not UP. So make sure that is what you want to do when asking to be on the same team. We will also look at the notes we have from the tryout cards.
Players trying out, be sure to check in at the desk and fill out a tryout card if you are trying out.
Players will be told by e-mail and posting on the GCVA web site as to which team they made by End of Day Tuesday. The coaches always talk and go through everything at the end of the tryout to make sure each player will be on the team they feel that will give them the best opportunity for the most playing time. Just remember everyone is guaranteed the same amount of practice time, playing time is earned in practice. There are set out rules for missed practices, please see your player/parent agreement.
Fees are different for the top 13u and 14u teams. Fees will be adjusted if you make 131 or 141 which are travel teams.
