SUMMER BEACH TEAM 2025      

Limited to 120 players, we fill up fast every year!

***for all ages (10-18) and skill levels (beginner to advanced), courts will be divided by age and skill level***          

BVCA Top 16 Club in the U.S. in 2023 & 2024

Program Cost - $695

• $395 Deposit paid upon registration - Deposits are non refundable!
• $150 Payments made May 1st and June 1st

Fee's Include:

• Practices (20 Total) - 
  • Tuesdays 5:30pm to 7:30pm 
  • Thursdays 5:30pm to 7:30pm
• FREE ENTRY GCVA BRQs - May 10th, May 17th, May 24th and more TBD
• FREE ENTRY GCVA BNQ - June 8th
• Beach Team Gear - Includes two practice shirts, jersey, shorts, visor
• Point Program - Points to use towards shirts, hats, backpacks and other gear at the end of the year party
• Tournament Coaching - A shared coach at the USAV BNQ and 3 BRQs (TBD)
• Summer Drills - All indoor GCVA summer drills (not camps) are free for beach team players
• Qualified Teams - Will get free entry into USAV National Championships

• Coaches have 10+ years experience playing sand. Head Coaches are USAV Beach Impact and BCAP Certified. We have a very good coach to player ratio! 
• Practice Location: Cheaster Davis Sportsplex (League City Sportsplex) 1251 Highway 96 -  League City, TX 77573

Additional Information:

• Each player must be registered with USA Volleyball Lone Star Region (outdoor memberships are $25 payable to USAV/LSR). If you are all ready a USAV/LSR member we just need your USAV#, indoor memberships are GOOD for outdoor volleyball.
• For USAV Beach players can play with any club. Club does not matter, anyone can play as long as they are USAV members.
• Teams - Players sign up individually, however they can select a partner or we can pair them with an appropriate competitive partner. If your daughter has a preference as to who she partners with, these recommendations can be made on the registration form or at the start of the program. Please understand that just because two players are good friends does not always mean they are good sand partners.
• First Practice: May 6th
• Practice Ends: July 10th
• First Tournament: May 10th

• USAV Beach Championships: TBD
• Season Over: July 10th - Team Party

Why Play Beach Volleyball?

• Doubles provides the best in random, game-like volleyball experiences with a high number of contacts per person.
• Each player's weaknesses are practiced throughout the game - if you're a bad passer, you get served; if you're a bad setter, you partner is served and you must set. You are forced to become a better player
• To extend your range on defense as you are required to cover the entire court.
• To develop communication skills with a single partner   before moving on to a 6-person system.
• To enhance strength and conditioning through increased movement.
• To learn equal part in the responsibility of every play with your partner
• Sand Volleyball is a NCAA Scholarship sport.
• To be one of the best sand players you do not have to be one of the giant indoor players.

***special note - any player that wants to play beach volleyball in college and train beach year round please contact me directly using the contact info below for information on our beach national team***

USAV MEMBERSHIP:  All Players must have a valid USAV membership to participate in Practices & Tournaments.  If you do not have a membership you can get one here:  https://memberships.sportsengine.com/org/lone-star-region-volleyball/affiliation/gulf-coast-volleyball-association   Please get the Beach Only membership which will expire at the end to 2023 Beach Season.  If you played INDOOR CLUB - that membership is also good for beach. USAV BEACH, you can play with ANYONE from any Club or even any Region.  They just have to be USAV members.
