2008/2009 GCVA CLUB FEES   -      THE GCVA HAS NO HIDDEN FEES

We are a cost efficient, competitive volleyball club in the heart of Clear Lake City.

 

FEE SCHEDULE Updated July 10, 2008

GCVA club fees are all inclusive. There are no separate Tournament fees, Unless the team make Nationals or wants to travel beyond the state of TX.  All Drills and Skill sessions (not summer camps) are free to all GCVA players.  With GCVA we try to give you more bang for your buck.

National Team: For teams/players going to Out of State National Qualifiers.  Apply credit toward Qualifier. We will start fund raisers in November to offset the rest of cost of Nationals. Or player can pay $250 which is due 30 days before trip. 

 

·          D: Developmental teams play in tournaments appropriate to their skill level. Developmental teams will also get special training to help develop their skills.  We do accept athletics that have not played club or school volleyball on developmental teams.

·          * Teams will get a chance to play in additional tournaments if they are doing well in local tournaments.

·          If you want you can pay a larger Deposit and pay smaller monthly payments.

·         salaries and expenses for coaches

·         practice and tournament volleyballs

·         volleyball carts

·         ALL tournament entry fees

·         administrative fees  

·         uniforms & Practice Gear

Does Not Include:  

 

·         hotel

·         food

·         airfare/Transportation to Tournaments 

·         Out of state tournament expenses.

·         Transportation to and from practice sessions

 

 

 

 (NATIONAL)

Team will try to qualify for nationals

 Club Provides

·         Transportation/Hotel to Out of State tournaments National Qualifier (1)

·         Lone Star National Qualifier

·         Lone Star Regionals

 

The Nationals team fee, $50 a month, is the girls Deposit for an out of State Qualifier and will be applied to the Trip Fees (Entry Fee/Travel Expense) for Qualifier. If you are going to the Qualifier this fees is mandatory to insure your commitment to the trip. The total expense is about $600+- per player including Travel/Hotel/Entry Fee/Coach Expense etc.) The rest of the fees can be off set by fundraisers.  In the past boys have raised enough to pay for their entire trips for qualifiers/Nationals.

Does Not Include:  

·         Food

·         Transportation to and from practice sessions

·         Nationals if we qualify

·         Transportation/Lodging for in State Tournaments

 

 

Payment Methods: Cash, Checks, Money Orders, Master Card, VISA (we would prefer to set you up on an automatic credit card payment.) 

·          $100 discount for returning players ($20 a month for the last 5 months )

·          $100 discount for (full) payment up front.

·          $200 discount on second child in family.

·          $400 discount for third child in family.

·          Fees are prorated for players joining after November 30.

·          Boy’s fees are already discounted. There is not discount for boys fees

·          Late fee:  $25.00 5 days past the due date.             

·          Returned Check:  $25.00

·         FEES HAVE TO BE CURRENT: If Fees are not current the player will have to sit out at practice.

·         If at any time a players fees fall behind 30 days (owing 2 months) the player will be released from the club and the account will be turned over to collections.

·         Player Agreement Form:  Each player/parent must sign a GCVA fee agreement form http://gcvanet.ipower.com//Players%20agreement%20forms.doc

·         Fund Raisers:  Each team may want to have some fund raisers if they need more gym/practice time or raise money for any additional tournaments. This will be up to individual coaches/teams

(Boys Fees do not include out of Houston Area Tournaments)

(Boy’s well be required to work fundraisers if traveling to out of area tournaments)

Due to the fact that there are not many Boy’s teams in our region/state the boys play mainly in Men’s B tournaments and limited Boy’s tournaments which do require travel.  So the Boy’s teams are a lot different in structure/fees etc. than the girl’s teams.

·          The boys travel teams go to two out of state tournaments a year (St. Louis Boys Festival & Nationals).  The boys are responsible for travel costs associated with these tournaments. 

·         The Nationals fee, $50 a month, is the boys Deposit for Nationals and will be applied to the Trip Fees (Entry Fee/Travel Expense) for Nationals. If you are going to Nationals this fees is mandatory to insure your commitment to the trip.  National’s total expense is about $650+- per player including Travel/Hotel/Entry. Nationals are a 5 day trip of which 4 days are playing.  Fee/Coach Expense etc.) The rest of the fees can be off set by fundraisers.  In the past boys have raised enough to pay for Nationals.

CLUB TRAINER- DEVEPOLMENT PLAYER:

A club trainer is someone who does want to get some volleyball training that will help improves their skills, but not participate in tournaments.  Club trainers participate in weekly Drills and all practices with their age group team but do not play in club matches. 

 

This is a great opportunity to see if your kid will enjoy volleyball and get them some great training by PAID coaches.
