The Gulf Coast Volleyball Association (GCVA) was created to help promote volleyball
throughout the state of TEXAS. The
GCVA has created an organization where players can gain training,
recognition, ratings and rankings through participating in our programs. The GCVA has help develop and promote the fast-growing sport of outdoor
volleyball at the grassroots level. The GCVA is responsible for the
scheduling, and promoting of Outdoor volleyball in the Houston/Galveston area
and throughout the Gulf Coast for the last twenty (20) years. We work with the AVP (Association of Volleyball
Professionals), USA Volleyball, AAU volleyball, and many others to bring
National Adult and Junior events into our area. The GCVA also helps promote n the large Amateur Junior indoor
programs and has created a cost effective, competitive volleyball club right
in the heart of Clear Lake City. With the warm TEXAS weather, outdoor tournaments take place throughout the entire year with the majority of events to take place in the spring and summer months. The GCVA is composed of responsible people, united for the common
purpose of promoting volleyball by conducting outdoor volleyball events,
Junior Indoor training in an effective and professional manner while striving
for the highest possible standards for players, tournament directors, members
and sponsors.
